Roxana Chitanu is the illustrator of “Where’s My Joey?” (2021) written by Wendy M. Winter and “Inside” (2024) authored by herself.

She is a Romanian-born, Italy-based author-illustrator. Inspired by impressionism, her work features light-infused, atmospheric imagery that invites children and anthropomorphic characters into playful, emotional worlds.

Her favorite things during childhood were reading and drawing in her grandparents’ library and observing the world outside, from ants and pebbles to clouds and trees.

She is currently developing her own picture book projects (a dummy is available upon request) and is also open to illustrating stories that blend humor with heart.
