Roxana Chitanu is the illustrator of “Where’s My Joey?” (2021) written by Wendy M. Winter and “Inside” (2024) authored by herself.<\/p>\n
She is a Romanian-born, Italy-based author-illustrator. Inspired by impressionism, her work features light-infused, atmospheric imagery that invites children and anthropomorphic characters into playful, emotional worlds.<\/p>\n
Her favorite things during childhood were reading and drawing in her grandparents\u2019 library and observing the world outside, from ants and pebbles to clouds and trees.<\/p>\n
